tales from the Guggenheim

The Guggenheim Museum is one of my many favorite spots to visit, especially when its in the mid-60s and you have nowhere important to be. Go ahead and take a stroll up fifth avenue, make a pit stop at the pretzel wagon right outside the Met and proceed. Now we all know the iconic Gehry designed wedding cake facade is a great triumph for architecture but for me, its all about the people watching outside. No doubt it’s a great hangout spot and everywhere you look conversations
are underway..smokers, jokers, you name it. You blend into the scene just like all the other tourists and if your lucky you’ll get to see some interesting characters stop by to gawk or just aimlessly stand in place.
