The head Chromogenic is Justin Waldinger.  A lifelong photography nut, Justin is a New York based Industrial Designer and Photographer.  He founded the Chromogenic in February of 2012 to share his love of traditional film photography and its process with like-minded individuals around the world.  He is well versed in the traditional wet darkroom process and currently owns a number of film based cameras covering all formats. His main walk arounds are a Mamiya 7 ii + 65mm f4 lens and  a Nikon f100 + 50mm f1.8 but the true love of his life is a chamonix 45n-2 4×5 large format wooden camera.

    • wow! Thank you Stephanie, I really appreciate that and more importantly, stoked that you are enjoying the blog. Hopefully more people will “upgrade to film” or at least be inspired to take a class or self experiment in learning the process of film development and printing, its been labeled a dying art but it doesn’t have to be.
